Mr + Mrs Elmore’s Northern California Party (and their wedding, too)
Alyssa and Steven have been seen on my blog before! But this time, they’re Mr + Mrs! Their NorCal country wedding was the best balance of bougie, western elegance and Coors light induced dance party.
My favorite part about this day you ask? Well, I could say their first dance because they were so locked in to one another. I could also say when their bridesmaids all cut their dresses before the dancing started. Or maybe I’d say Alyssa’s first look with her bridesmaid where, instead of the old “Turn around on three,” I had Alyssa out by the barn and the girls RACED to see their BFF all dolled up. Even though these moments still live rent free in my head, my favorite part of their day was: the cake. Yes, you read that right, the cake.
Typically, we don’t see cake smashes like we used to. I totally get it! You spend hundreds on hair and makeup, the last thing you’d want is it smeared with frosting when there’s still a few hours left in your day. But, honestly, it was SO fun. They really went for it and laughed the whole way through! When you see the pics below, you’ll get it; I hope you’ll smile and laugh as much as I did.
Overall, their day was just so fun. All the ass shaking, all the hype, all the love you’d expect and more for their perfect, June western barn wedding.

And another fun fact? Her mom met Martin at a trunk show when she bought her dress!
