Alyssa + Steven are getting married in June 2024 at Oak Hollow Farms, so of course I took them to the perfect spot that blends spring colors with that western engagement session vibe. 

It’s pretty awesome when your clients trust you with every detail. Once A + E booked their wedding with me, we got straight to planning their included engagement session with my custom HM Photo Engagement guide. Its aim is to help my clients get a better understanding of what to expect, but also  what to bring, what to wear and how to feel prepared. It’s important to me that your session feels like you and is unique to you. If that means you bring the whole farm to your photo shoot, I’m game! 

Every detail of the evening was perfect. We spent an hour walking + laughing together in the hills of Orland. Each of their photos was so great. When you’re in love, the photos come so easy. It was also pretty rad that they told me “Hailey we trust you, just do your thing!” 

Details I loved about their norcal spring engagement shoot were everything; but I especially loved the moment when Alyssa randomly reached into her jean pocket and pulled out a fortune that read “So lucky I found you.” (Whoever is doing marketing for Lucky Brand jeans is doing a great job). It was the cutest little surprise, so of course it had to make an appearance in the gallery.
